The Patient by Jasper Dewitt grasped me in its claws from the first page! This is such an engaging story about an ambitious, young psychologist named Parker who undertakes a notorious patient in a mental Asylum. The Patient is all kinds of creepy! This patient is dangerous and has proven to be quite an enigma to all that have treated him in the past. He was first admitted as a 6 year old and now as a man in his 40s is still bewildering all of his doctors as his mental state continues to evolve. This story is based upon true accounts of an actual patient that was told through an online forum. As Parker dives into the patients case he is forced to look deep into himself and his past. The end of this book will shock you. A must read!
