I had really high hopes for this book. I read it pretty quickly. And I remember feeling the entire time, like ok its coming. Something is coming. I can feel it. Well I just felt let down. I was expecting it to be more scary? More exciting? More thrilling? Just more.. and well it wasn’t. I feel that the description is accurate. It is a silent patient meets Stephen king mash up. But I figured out how it’d end, it seemed obvious. But at the points where I supposed to be shocked I was just, ah ok. At the beginning I was really excited for it. I had high expectations. But overall I just didn’t love this one. It’s an ok read. I felt like either it was too rushed and there needed to be more. More creepiness
