This was an amazing book. Jasper Dewitt does a great job at connecting the reader to the characters and becoming invested in their outcomes. This book is a quick read and I was hooked. You follow the message posts (from a different era... pre-facebook) of one particular doctor who is eager to pave his way in the field. You follow his story about the different people who he meets and builds relationships: The nurse who everyone loves, the medical director who no one likes, and a particular mystery. Is the patient crazy? Is the doctor crazy? Why is no one allowed to go near the patient? This is a great psychological thriller that keeps you guessing. I certainly was surprised at the ending. I never thought that it would end the way it does.
