Review: at just around 200 pages this was a ride. You follow Parker, a new psychiatrist who decided to post onto a forum his experience with Joe, a patient who has been in care for the past 25+ years. This was dark and tense. I felt like I could actually hear the voice recordings between Joe and his first psychiatrist. I caught myself holding my breath until the next forum post. It was graphic without having to go into gruesome details. It makes you look back at the monsters as a child you may have dealt with and how it played out for you. Highly recommend for those looking for a dark, quick story.
