I received this book through the Bookish First giveaway. What a great horror thriller novel! There was a lot of story in such a small 200 page book. I like the way it was told through a blog for medical professional and the slow build up the main character, Parker uses. Parker is a new psychiatrist at a new job and has high hopes of fixing everyone and anyone he can. Most of his motivation come from his personal life and his mother's illness. At his new job he learns of a patient that has been there for three decades and no one seems to be able to diagnose and cure. Through his blog entries we learn what Parker does and his encounters with Joe the patient. As the stories progresses Parker questions his sanity and what is real and what may be delusions. I really enjoyed this quick read and highly recommend it.
