The cover of the book is enticing- it is quite similar in style to books I've read before so it attracts me, although I do tend to overlook covers like that sometimes.
I love how we learn of Parker's story through the internet message board posts that he writes- it's a clever way of telling the story. In addition, the mysterious circumstance surrounding Parker and his refusal to talk much about his background adds a tremendous air of suspense and makes this book one I would not put down if I started reading.
