The first thing that caught my attention was the author's bio. The first page got me eve more. For his first novel, he seems to know how exactly how to catch the attention of a thrill seeker. I like the style of the narrator speaking to the reader. I always feel more involved in books like that. After reading the sneak peek, I am very intrigued at what happened to "Joe" and why he has been there so long.
