After reading the first look, this book seems like a matchup of old-school Stephen King and The Silent Patient. It sounds like it will be scary and suspenseful, with the plot centering on the young doctor trying to help a patient. I also look forward to in-depth character studies of both main figures, and following their trajectories through the story.
