This first chapter was a wild ride. The mysterious patient, Joe, has been locked in this mental hospital for over 40 years. He gets no therapy and only interacts with the nurse who gives him medication and the orderlies who clean him room and bring him food. But our main character is about to find out who Joe really is and why he's there.
