The cover was not that impressive to me it seemed like a regular horror or psychological thriller cover. The summery was attention-grabbing and did a good job of giving a small little feel for the book.
Reading this book I was hooked instantly. I wanted to know more and wanted to know what happened to the patient and the doctor that was helping him. The author did a very good job of making it seem like an autobiography or a journal of the events that happened. Even though it was only the first 23 pages it sucked me in and made me want to read more.
Based on what I read it was a 4 out of 5 stars.
