The Silent Patient vibes but with a remarkably different writing style.

After reading and enjoying The Silent Patient, I've been keeping similar-sounding books in mind. This is a certain contender, told from the point-of-view of a young doctor working with a patient who has a mysterious past. The writing style is a bit stiff but informative. The descriptions set an eerie atmosphere that I liked. If horror is as much of a component as the comparisons to Stephen King imply then this should be a worthwhile read.
