The cover is pretty basic with a strong color scheme which gives nothing away. The story seems to be told in hindsight and in a journal entry or blog post format that makes for easy and quick reading. The excerpt leaves you with a primary mystery involving the patient as well as a mystery about the narrator. You would assume the title refers to the hospitalized person but it isn’t quite clear and leaves you to wonder if it might also refer to the narrator.
