I like thrillers with a psychiatric hospital setting, and the author does a good job of establishing a suspenseful tone in the chilling atmosphere of the old hospital. So far the journal entry/doctor's note format is working and believable. This was such a short excerpt, I wish it had been longer. But I'm dying to read the rest!
