The cover alone drew me in - it looked like something out of a mental hospital. Parker is the epitome of young know it all. He over explains and clearly thinks he is smarter than everyone else in the room. As annoying as he seems, I still want to keep reading his story. The notes on Joe had me completely caught up in the story, and I want to read more to know what has possessed this man since childhood.
