My first glimpse into the ward at CSA leaves me with chills. Starting with the abandoned treatment notes, right down to the sticky floors and padded cells. I've had the misfortune to visit in just such a place ( not as a patient, though ) and I'm dying to know what really goes on behind all those doors with locks. The historical asylum in our area sat high on a hill with a stone tower, starched attendants, and one very suspicious-looking ambulance driver who looked as if a switch had been made and he was about to grab me and split the scene! Everything about bedlam interests me and I would jump on the chance to read and review 'The Patient.'
