I know this book is being sold as “Silent Patient meets Stephen King”, but I was 100% getting Exorcist vibes from the very beginning. I don’t know that the cover inspires much fear, but it does seem like this has the potential to be a creepy and interesting story. I felt the beginning 23 pages were very clinical and not very character driven, which is something I’m not used to, but I am intrigued by the premise and would like to read more!
