Right from start, this book draws you in! First of all, it feels quite realistic with the way its formatted and reads like identifying markers were actually redacted. The forum format already helps build a tone, which is expounded on through the setting of a creepy mental hospital. In the excerpt you never actually meet the patient, but you do get a glimpse into his file. From what I read, this seems like a compelling psychological thriller, although through research I did find that it's quite supernatural as well.
