What I immediately liked about this was that even though it was a brief excerpt, I already feel creeped out. I’m hooked already and I need to read more! The plot feels fresh and new. Sometimes I feel as if the thriller genre has been overdone, but Joe with his strange behavior and his doctor’s eagerness to “fix” him have already set up the story to be entertaining! I’m excited for this one!
