The "found journal" approach hooked me from the very beginning. I loved the way the doctor's journey to the hospital and weather conditions foreshadowed what's to come. I particularly enjoy "creepy kid" horror so I am really hoping later chapters explore more of the patient's childhood. Can't wait to read the rest of this book, which seems destined to delightfully disturb me.
