In light of the COVID 19 pandemic that is occurring right now, this book might be a difficult topic to read, but interesting nonetheless. I found the brief glimpse to be sad already, with an immigrant girl forced to provide for her younger brothers after the death of her mother. I have never read anything regarding the Spanish flu of 1918 so this would be a worthwhile historical fiction read!
