Very thought provoking and timely story when we are facing all the immigration issues and immigrant children are being ripped from their parents. Pia is on a mission to navigate the streets alone, doing what she has to in order to survive and to help her brothers survive. She has to face her demons and the cold hard truth. Bernice has a different agenda of concealing the truth, but hoping to help by doing that. Hopefully Pia and Bernices paths collide and they can be on common ground. Very anxious to read this.
