I think many of us can remember learning about the Spanish Flu in our history class. Who would have thought that once again a plague hits the world - it's CoVid 19. A bitter neighbor is hell bent on making others suffer by stealing children from their families. Pia, a young girl who emigrated from Germany with her family to start a new life in the USA. The story is told through Pia, and how the flu started, how it affected her and her family as well as many others. Seems like no one really listened to the "safety standards" on the flu much like today and it seems to be spreading almost as quickly. A great read for what we are living today.
