Never More Relevant
Today we are dealing with a pandemic forcing individuals to self-quarantine and an immigration crisis with the federal government tearing families apart, leaving many to die. This fiction book based in history tells us a story of the past that is all too relevant today. What a unique and intriguing way of bringing two issues to light. I'm eager to continue reading about these characters' motives and missions. I'm on the edge of my seat to get to the ending and find out what becomes of Pia, her brothers, and Berenice. Will Berenice be successful or will Pia become vengeful? Tell me more!
