Well, I couldn’t have imagined a couple weeks ago that I’d be finding such familiarity with a pandemic like the Spanish Flu. This is an area of historical fiction that I haven’t been as exposed to, but whether it’s timely or not, I was ready to jump in with the synopsis alone. This is definitely a book that I would want to settle in and read in a session or two. Even in this first impression I’m grateful for the efforts to include and help use understand historical context to help best set the stage. I’m excited about this one for sure! I need to know more.
