I'm a huge historical fiction fan, and this book sounds JUST like what I need to read next. Right now, I'm ready a fairly fluffy fairlytale retelling set in this same time period. It is making me more interested in reading a more serious story about this era. I love the idea of following a young girl through this time, and Pia seems like a heroine I could really cheer for. The cover is stunning as well...I love how it gives an idea of Pia while leaving her face to the reader to imagine.
