The image of the girl on the cover is why I titled my review heart-wrenching. She looks so sad, so desolate, and when you first start to read the description it sounds like a tragedy, but then you read it ends it hope and happiness for this poor child and it makes you want to read her story. It sounds like a moving novel and a surprisingly relevant topic given today's crisis. This little girl, Pia, sounds like someone who will make you cry and then fill you with happiness and hope.
