A very timely story, this one tugged at my heart right from the beginning. A child is in need and has no one to depend on but herself. The only help being offered from an adult really isn't help at all. I can tell this one is going to tug just right at all the feelings regarding kids in need, immigrants, dealing with large scale illness . . . well-timed indeed.
