Fiction that fills you full of the emotions of nonfiction

I had to keep reminding myself of the timeline of this book and that it's based loosely on historical events. From the picture on the cover and the title to these first couple chapters I am hooked and I can't wait for more. Historical fiction that tugs at the hearts of the reader's is within these pages! Beautifully written descriptions of the struggles and heartaches of the times are easily portrayed by the author.
