The timing of this book is eerie and poignant. The short except has me hooked to a story that is captivating, heartbreaking, and unfortunately, very relevant to the events going on in the world today regarding COVID19. Some of the passages felt like they could have been pulled from today's headlines, and it sent chills down my spine. I'm a big fan of historical fictions and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this book.
