The cover to me, first of all, already brings incredible sadness. The title adds to that as well. I would say that I can’t imagine the world during the Spanish flu, but I’m afraid we may be living it. This may not be a good book for the feint of heart to read right now, but I am intrigued. I would need tissues ready I think!
