I generally shy away from Historical Fiction, but surprisingly, I really enjoyed how this book was written. Even though it is set in 1918, the actual storyline feels extremely relevant to the current day situation with COVID-19.
The cover doesn't really catch my eye though and I am confused as to why there is a dark haired girl on the cover when the main character (Pia) is German with blonde hair and blue eyes.
