What a voice! I hadn’t heard of this author before and that’s a shame, because a quick Google search tells for he’s pretty prolific. And I can see why. The blurb pulled me in immediately, and though I’m not sure how this excerpt will connect with it, it’s written in such a compelling way to make me want to read more, especially as I haven’t read much by Native American authors before.
