What are the elks supposed to be? Are Ricky and Lewis the same person or different people both imagining elks? Was Ricky imagining them, or were they really there? Does the prologue just cut off in the middle of a sentence in this preview? I'm pretty sure I have more questions than answers and I'm guessing that's the intent for everything except the mid-sentence cutoff. Hopefully as the book goes along there's more clarity and less confusion.
