I'm not a reader of horror, but this book left me intrigued. Jones' writing is tight and sharp, leaving me with a clear image of the world he's creating. I know very little of North Dakota and reservation life, and I like how this excerpt helps open greater awareness. I'm a bit anxious to read more -- how horrifying will it be?
