The first think I noticed about The Only Good Indians is that the book has a pretty strong voice. That's a good thing. However, as I read, I really couldn't identify with the characters much and even the voice couldn't really sustain my interest. The book was well written though, and I think that the characters will grab the attention of some readers. It just wasn't the book for me.
