Equal parts perplexing and intriguing.

The first chapter is kind of a head scratcher though it's clear there is much more than meets the eye. On the literary side of things, the vocabulary used here is not huge and should be approachable for most readers. The style is unique though, and seems like it would take a bit to get used to. There is definitely higher intended meaning when read between the lines. Very curious to try more #ownvoices fiction, especially thrillers that are cerebral as this one seems to be.
