I think this First Look suffered from a little page jumbling that made it harder to discern the storyline. Based on what I can tell, page 13 was left out and page 18 subbed in it's place, but once I figured that part out, the story is unique. We don't get the horror aspect that the summary promises from this first look, but we're getting hints of something spooky with the appearance of the elk in each storyline. The cover is definitely dark and the cultural aspects seem ripe to add a lot of value to the story. An interesting start for sure.
