The cover is really interesting. Simplistic and it shows an important part of the book while not giving too much away. 3.5 stars really. I was annoyed with Lauren through most of this, but the interesting twist at the end made up for it. Honestly, I didn’t really like anyone in this book. Her friends sucked. Her mom sucked even more. I didn’t think anyone was worth it at all. I didn’t see who the killer was at all. But, there was no way for anyone to guess who the killer was, though. Like the reveals at the end you didn’t know until the end. I also don’t think Lauren was petty enough. I would have been so mean throughout this whole book and her being able to keep it together was great. Shows how much more mature she is than me I guess. I would have burnt it to the ground (pun intended) This is a pretty solid murder mystery and I was invested in the story. It kept me up trying to figure out what was going on and that’s all that really matters in the end.
