Ya thrillers are my favorite genre right now! The story grabbed my attention right away. The story was full of lots of twists and turns. It did feel a bit repetitive in the middle third though. There are a lot of characters to keep straight in this book and because of that there isn’t a lot of character development. I also felt like as the story went on, there were more and more pieces that never got fully flushed out. I thought the author did a good job with who the killer was, but I wish more had been shared about their motivations. The ending all came together very nicely too, which didn’t feel completely realistic.

Overall, it’s an engaging YA thriller with lots of twists and turns. I just feel like it needed less characters and a bit more back story development. If you do decide to read this book, I’d recommend the audiobook. I thought the narration was great.
