Too many YA books and I have no interest in them. Way too far past those days to relate to what teens are going through now.
Transfer across the country just before senior year to get away from a past that sounds like rape or at least unwanted sex, can't tell yet. Her mom is into a new guy so there is less mom and me time than she's like, but she visits her mom at work at a hospice center every week to have sex with the cute boy who works there.
She's trying out for sports and seems to be doing well in that area.
She's invited along with other girls to a party with lots of drinking. One of the girls asks why she is seeing the boy at her mom's work place and gets quite agitated about it. Supposedly anyone who dates him or maybe his family ends up dead is what she is told.
