Before I start this review, I just want to say that the title initially drew me in. THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY WITH MURDER---with a name like that, I knew it would be right up my alley. Spoiler Alert: it was.
Tish Lundy's debut is easily devourable. I read this book in what felt like no time at all. Seriously, before I knew it, I was 100 pages in then 200 and so on and so forth. This book is just that good.
THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY WITH MURDER is the perfect blend of mystery, thrills, drama, and a little romance. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I had so many theories about the whodunit...there was even a point when I thought I solved it. Boy was I wrong. That reveal was crazy. Those last few chapters were crazy.
THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY WITH MURDER was a delightful read. I enjoyed the mystery, and the solving of the murders. I loved the way everything flowed, and how, at times, it didn't seem like I was reading. This book was amazing, and Tish Lundy will forever be an instant buy author for ya mystery/thriller.
