Honestly, I had forgotten how quickly YA books get down to business. Guess you have to hook your reader in early with some spicy drama but it should make for an easy, quick read. It seems like the standard high school drama story, new girl, new school, new town, sketchy past, well known boy….happens to probably be a murderer. I want to know more about what happened in California. Why was our main character forced to move across the country for a fresh start? And why does everyone think her fling is a murderer?
