So the cover unfortunately looks like many other YA thrillers. That is where the comparisons end. I found myself immediately drawn into the story. A bit of fade to black sexual content doesn’t hurt as far as keeping my interest. I am interested to know more about what happened in California, as well as whatever is the family lore for Robbie.
