I feel like books today are all carbon copies of each other, especially in the YA sphere. It's either fantasy or murder and this is firmly in camp two, complete with a cover that looks like the dozen or so that have already been highlighted here. And good grief, adult romances take more time to get to sex on the page and here we are on page 2 at mom's workplace (am I reading this correctly?). I keep thinking about how the age range for this category is 12/13-18 and yet so much of the content is geared towards the New Adult crowd... Oh well, maybe I'm getting old and crotchety, but I'm going to keep this on the shelf.
