Mysterious! Pulls you in from the start!

I was already becoming drawn in from the mystery of Lauren's past. She gives small details that something bad happened and she moved to start fresh. I'm curious to find out more about her past. The last line of chapter 3 really draws me in. One of the first people Lauren becomes involved with in the new town comes from a family who's known for girlfriends to wind up dead. I'm very interested to find out if Lauren is in danger of being the next victim, or if she can uncover the truth.
