Fast paced thriller with secrets

The introduction to one of the main characters, Lauren, brings you into the story from the beginning and there are plenty of hints that it won't be a smooth ride as you read and that secrets are many with her. It makes me want to know if there are more secrets to discover and how she plays into the rest of the plot.
