There isn't much that appealed to me in this excerpt. Lauren is troubled. Robbie is kind of creepy - hacking Lauren's phone? Is Lauren's mom oblivious to all that's going on with her daughter? The writing is tight and fast paced, but I didn't get interested enough in any of the characters to want to read more.
