This collection of stories gives you a sneak peak into the African world and way of life with every day people and every day drama. I thought that I was well read in all aspects of the publishing world before I picked up this book. But I guess I am only well read in popular genres and books that are published by the big American publishers. It was refreshing to see a different world view. And one that most don't know exist in Africa. Most people think that Africa is poverty stricken with no big cities and all dirt roads, but this book and all its short stories shows a different world. I now know that it is not all like that and that they have big cities and drama and everything that the United States of America and United Kingdom and all developed nations have. I am very glad that I won this collection and I will be passing it on to someone else that will appreciate it as much as I did. Way to go!!
