Alright, so I technically won the arc of this book but the publisher sent me the wrong book. This author doesn't deserve to suffer for the publisher's mistakes, so I'm giving them a 5 star review and will review the book I was actually sent - Send Her Back. I was not interested in reading this book and I did not choose it, but I did read part of it. It was not my thing in any way, shape, or form. I couldn't identify with any of the characters' struggles, I found all of them unlikeable, and the whole book was way too much social and political commentary for me. I understand that it was supposed to be, but again, I did not ask to read or receive that book. But here we are and I feel like the bad guy for not giving it a good review because I don't think it deserved one. Either way, this is a lesson to check with the publishers to see if I can get the correct book instead.
