I can’t pick a favorite the stories are all so different that each one brings something special. I loved learning about a culture so different than mine. As different as each story was they all had one thing in common, a lot of heart.
The characters draw you in and you both root for them and in some cases against them. Despite the shortness of each story or maybe because of it every sentence is packed with emotion that lets you see deep into the characters soul and into their worlds.
I highly recommend this anthology. I hope each of these writers get their chance to shine because they deserve to be household names. I’m going to have to go find more by each of them in the future.
